Today I came down with a terrible bout

a sickness that is serious and deadly, no doubt

The doctors say it’s without a cure

and just how I got it, they are unsure

The symptoms are awful

and horrible, I say

You appear to be glowing

all night and all day

You also will experience

a permanent smile

and a continuous happiness

that makes life worthwhile

the worst part of this whole thing

is when your words become muddled

you get all nervous and can’t speak

and turn into a puddle!

But never fear, my friend!

this illness will not bother you

unless you are hopelessly in love

with a love that’s true

for this illness with which I’ve been stricken

happens only when you fall in love,

when you are smitten…

like mittens!!

is there anything you DON'T do, gf? Love the stitching and you are just the most creative poster. If I had a creative blogger award to give, I'd give it to you!

Love it. You are so creative.

I look forward to coming to your blog.

You look so much like my sister Susan. If I had a pic, I would send it.

Have a lovely weekend.
