BETSY

Hello!  Do you remember a while back I was looking for this sweet pattern, "Betsy", by Sheepish Designs?  Well, a dear blogging friend, Joan, let me borrow her pattern.

This is such a fun design, love the patriotic colors and sweet birds. This photo was taken in the sunshine, but the linen looks more like the color in the first photo.

I have been trying my hardest to work on a few WIP's so I can get them off to be framed.

Sorry about the photos, I have tried several times to get them to look presentable but nothing seems to be cooperating at the moment.  This peacock is my favorite motif on this design.  I am drawn to any design that has a peacock on it, such a magnificent bird and I enjoy stitching them, too.  I will close for now, just wanted to post a quick update but I want to get back to my stitching before American Idol comes on.  Is anyone following this show this season?  There is a lot of talent this year and I love Jennifer as a judge and that Steven Tyler, well, he's just B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!  Catch my drift?
Until next time, thanks for visiting my blog and I will be back with more!

Love the colors of this design. I've really enjoyed the judges on American Idol this year. Before he stated I didn't think Steven Tyler would be any good at all & now I think he's my absolute favorite judge of all time :)

Gorgeous, Jolene dear, just gorgeous!!!!

I didn't know you were looking for it...so out of the blog loop lately. But I do own a copy, if there is someone that sees this that would like it, please just email me! I looked for Cathy Loyd's email, but it wasn't in her profile. Karen, just email me...

Hey Jolene! I am happy to tell you that I found a Betsy chart to buy. A company called Em-li's...I googled and found she still has some of Sheepish Designs. She didn't last month when I called but has since talked with them and they must have agreed to give her more stock...or something like that! I'm so excited. I just love this design! Yours is fabulous!

I love your stitching projects, Jolene! Your Friendship Sampler is soooo cute. I *so* wish that BOAF was still designing! Betsy looks great, too! I just listened to a fun podcast on Betsy Ross on Stuff You Missed in History.

BTW, I just heard that Emli's (www.emlis.com) just bought the rights to Sheepish Designs, so we can now get their designs again. Wahoo!
