Job Offer Accepted!

Thanks for your interest in the stitching job for the Tapestry Peacock. This post is to let you know she has found someone who is willing to accept the challenge. I hope everything goes well and they are able to help her out. She has crippling arthritis and can't stitch. Money wasn't an issue to her, she just needed to find someone willing to help her out. I wished I could have helped her but I just knew there was no way I would be able to stitch it so quickly while I work a full time job.

I would so love to hear the saga as it unfolds: Can one stitcher finish such a Promethean task by March?! I hope so! It's a lovely design.

Good luck to the stitcher and I'm glad the recipient found someone to do it for her.

Good luck to the stitcher!!! It took me 6 months' work to do The Castle (spread out over 22 months), and about 3 years (a week here, a week there) to do Fantasy Triptych, which was relatively simple compared to Peacock! I couldn't even have the border done in 2 months!

I'm glad that she found someone. I hadn't heard back from my friend about her doing it, so I'm glad that someone rose to the occasion.

Glad to hear this. I'm sure there is someone that can do it but I know I'd never tackle a TW in two months :oP
